~~ Small Business Networks ~~
I can come
directly to your business and configure the network you
need.
Wired
Networks Wired Networks, or LANs (Local Area Networks) are today's
most common business networking solution. Wired Networks use
Ethernet cables to connect multiple PCs and Laptops together and
Routers and/or Hubs to allow them to share files, print to various
printers and access the Internet. Wireless
Networks Wireless Networks also allow multiple computers
to network so that they may share files, printers and access the
Internet, but they do it without Ethernet cables. Instead, there is
a small transmitter in each PC or Laptop and a central Wireless
Router and/or Hub. Phone Line
Networks The third available networking solution is
Phone Line Networking. This too creates a LAN to allow PCs and
Laptops to share files, printers and the Internet but it
"piggybacks" the network signal on your phone lines while still
allowing total use of your phones.
